Without having looked too far afield, QED's offering looks a lot like it really is off an original spec pattern?

Santa delivered the chest & backplate today!!

Initial cursory inspection has 'em looking pretty good.

No warp & no corrosion & seems a pretty solid representation of the original casting.

Worth it if it prevents me having to put it together twice!!!

- I stopped counting a while ago with this engine!
