who sells these swirl pots? (with temp sensor hole)

These seem like a good idea with the sensor hole for the fan switch.
I missed one of these for sale on ebay, any one know who sells them? Tried TTR and Kelsport but neither have them.

Salut Gordon

I'm sure you've seen the other one on eBay:

... but at a hefty ?160. I imagine Andy Wiltshire (?) could make one, too.

All the others I've seen are vertical types which complicates plumbing.

If you don't need the swirl function, then there's always Cliveboy's/Ford's thermostat housing, and I have seen a sort of in-line radiator cap attached to a straight tube that could be inserted in-line, but I haven't been able to find it again.

If you find something not too expensive and not too bothersome to fit, let me know!

Hello Gordon,

I was looking at making these shortly, and yes, the threaded boss for a thermostat makes good sense.

In respect of price I was hoping to keep them close to the ?100 figure.

I would need the thread size and type for the thermostat used.

Gordon I can not only sell you one of these, I can sell you the actual one in your photograph. Having offered it up its apparent that it is devised to suit a radiator that has been moved a little further into the nose as there isn't quite sufficient space between thermostat housing and standard wide rad in its standard location to fit the swirlpot/tank between. I'd ideally get my ?117.25 back..
Let me know before I stick it back on ebay!
