That arrangement would suit an electric pump in an Elan/+2 if enough space can be found behind the radiator.

That timing case looks the same as on the Lotus Elan's engine to me.
Is there a difference?

The differnce betwen this and the elan / cortina / escort one is the pipe coming out the front, comes out the side on the elan, this would be a struggle to fit on any of the cars listed, hope the person who paid ?164 knows what they have got!
