I used Purolator L20252 and cross referenced it to a K & N HP-2005 (not yet installed it). The HP-2005 is a little longer so we will see if it fits.

Looking through the numbers I've written down over the years I can add
Motorcraft Z-FL-269
WIX 51318
Motorguard MG5
Ryco Z62
I suspect most of these don't mean much outside NZ but there might be something useful there.
I've written down just about every part no. that has gone into my car over the years to make replacement easier. Some are possibly still valid so feel free to ask.
Good luck and Merry Xmas from New Zealand.
Ralph.

I have got a Unipart Filter Part number GFE443.
From my local motor Factors, called Partco here in Bournemouth UK.
( they stock loads of them as they are quite common)
Regards
Jeff

Interesting the Unipart GFE443 comes out as a mini A series part. From what Jonh C is saying my theory that it is the same as the Kent engine sounds good. It also appears to be the same as the Ford CVH engine. This means any motor factor will stock these.
