Does anyone have a picture please showing where the vac tanks are mounted on an S1, I can guess but it would be nice to see if Im right.
Really lucky today rooting around, I found another box of bits which included the correct headlight springs with the clip attached for the light switch and also both of the original spring operated headlight switches which I believe are now made of unobtainium.
thanks

Rod,
If you mean the vacuum reservoirs for the headlights, I assume that the S1 is the same as my S2. That means that the front crossmember is the vacuum tank. There's a spigot on the front face for a tee that (1) runs to one headlight vacuum pot and thence to the other and (2) connects to the tap on the #1 intake runner.

Sorry, I misunderstood. Maybe someone out there (Gary?) has pictures of the attachment locations and hardware.
Do you have the mounting brackets?

I think you might need a workshop manual and the parts book.
Cheers,
Pete.
