tightening torque for ARP rod bolts

ARP rod bolts are a stretch to distance. these should not be torqued to a number. The numbers that I got with some bolts from Dave Bean state that there twin cam bolts 576-E-0344 should be stretched to .005 to .0055 inches with a torque not to exceed 52 lb/ft with 30 weight oil and 36 lb/ft with moly lube. Check the bolts with a micrometer before you install them and as you torque them up the bolt length will stretch to the stated .005 to .0055 once you get to the stretch speced, STOP. the torque number is not relevant Call a reputable engine person if you don't like reading what I am writing.
