Cylinder head colour

What colour would the cylinder head and cam cover on my 1968 S3/SE have been? Presumably the block was grey.

Head is same as block...grey,I think the SE cam cover is red but have also seen them in blue, think it depends on if its a weber or stromburg head.

according to the material i have, the completed engine inc head was painted grey, in the cheshunt days, the nearest volunteer was sent for grey paint from the local hardware store, in later years the closest colour according to miles wilkins book is Massey Furguson Stonliegh Grey with a bit of blue, what ever that means!! I'm doing mine in this colour, without the blue. Cam covers related to the spec/model/year/market.
