The Cortina flywheel could be used but it takes a smaller clutch......7.5" from memory and the Lotus takes a 8.0" I suppose you could have the flywheel redrilled to accept the larger pressure plate although I'm not sure this is ideal.
You could also use the Cortina/Escort clutch but I think this involves modifying the release bearing carrier, not to sure now........I did one years ago but I think I fitted an Escort clutch and release bearing.

If money is no object, I bought a new Fidanaza lightweight flywheel on eBay a few years ago (at less than retail). As I recall it's about 6 pounds lighter than the stock flywheel. Driveability in the city is not adversely affected. I've been happy with it.
