REVERSE CABLE

Hello everyone,
I have just noticed that on my 70 Elan S4 DH Federal, the cables of the reversing lights have been cut flush with the lights in the trunk and at the level of the ignition on the gearbox. The cable therefore seems to remain in the harness that passes through the car. Could someone tell me where in the car does the beam go through the cabin and get to the dashboard. I should be able to get it back and remake the connections. This precision would prevent me from peeling off the entire carpet. Thank you in advance for your help
