Remax ES3 Ignition Coil

PostPost by: Simmo78 » Sun Apr 07, 2024 8:03 pm

Whilst searching the Internet the other day I came across this product, Remax ES3 ignition coils - equivalent to the DLB105.
The product is reportedly made here in the UK from quality materials, they have compared one of their coils against a competitors and the differences seem vast.
So the question is: has anyone had first hand experience of these coils?

Seen them before, but never tried one. Especially with a Lucas DLB 105 at half the price on Ebay. Current coil is a DLB 105, been on 8 years with no issues.
Care on Ebay required though, as It's believed that the units that look gold painted are Chinese, and the ones that look gold anodised are pukka.

I would not use eBay but a reputable supplier. Try Sparkrite, they do a wide range of coils and have a great reputation. They also sell via eBay but their coils are cheaper from their own website.

There are reputable sellers on Ebay, as you've shown above, you just have to be careful with anything you buy online.
99% of sellers can't ignore the coverage that Ebay brings.
