S4 Dip Switch too many wires

Just installed new dash harness from Autosparks, but have come across a couple of issues, car is a 1970 S4 Coupe and was shipped to S.Africa many years ago, and have found several bodges so replaced front engine harness and relays, now doing dash wiring.
Main Issue 1:
Dip switch has different colours to diagram and harness as follows and have been connected as follows
Harness Dip switch
1. Blue/brown Blue/red
2. Blue/purple Brown/red (could be red/brown as stripes are equal in size)
3. Blue.black Blue/white
4. Blue/green " "
5. Brown ?????
Items 3 and 4 on the new harness are connected together and assumed to be the main beam lights and warning light.
But anyone know what the plain Brown wire fom the dip switch is for or where it is supposed to connect to.

Thanks David, checked this out and appears the Brown may well be a flasher switch on the column arm.
As the colours from the column headlight switch are different to those in the harness, can anyone verify which colour wires are connected between the two

On +2S130 cars when the Dip Switch is in High Beam position you pull back for Headlamp Flash. It actuates the Light Solenoid Valve.
Or it did on my 1973 +2S130.
