Instrument panel wiring problem +2s130

Got a problem on the rewire of a 1971/2 elan +2s130 RHD with alternator and 3 fuse boxes under the bonnet.
The instrument panel is mainly complete but an anomaly has arisen. The wiring diagram shows the hazard flasher unit with one of the wires as w/b which connects as a 3 way connector to one of the window switches. However on the new loom the wire is r/b. There is still the 3 way w/b connector to attach to the window switch so where does the “extra” r/b (which exits the loom near the window switch) connect to, as there is no available terminal? Is there yet another variant of the wiring diagram with these alterations showing?
Thanks in advance
