S4 Taillight bulbs?

PostPost by: Speedsecrets » Thu Dec 22, 2022 8:54 pm

Can anyone tell me what replacement bulbs I should use in my Elan taillights? The old ones are so dirty/corroded that I can't read the type. Thanks!

Thanks. You wouldn't happen to know the part/bulb number that matches and works as a replacement, would you? I'm trying to find the right ones, but there are too many options that all seem like they would fit!

I see you are in the Pacific Northwest; what tail lights are in your car? Federal all red single bulb or Euro with 2 separate bulbs?

Yes, PNW. Two separate bulbs, one with 2 contacts, and one with just 1 contact; all red lens (other than the white for the backup light). The 2-contact bulb is in the upper half of the taillight, and the single-contact bulb is in the bottom.

They have everything you need and the owner Gil is most helpful. I have LEDs throughout - everything! D
