Fiery Heater Knobs

Hi,
Would a willing forum member be able to help me out please?
I need a high-res END ON (axial) picture of the "flame" domed gel style sticker of the earlier heater knob please.
As most are aware it seems to be the rarest of the Ford EnFo dashboard knobs.
Email is probably easiest for a high res picture, thanks gents.

I am aware SJ Sportscars makes a recreation knob but I personally think the logo looks a bit on the "could have tried harder" school report scale.
Were there potentially two types of heater knob? One with the base of the "flame" oval filled with red and the other not coloured in? See pictures below.

base oval not filled red

Hi Innes,
I cannot help you, but I am interested in this. The heater knob is possibly the only remaining original item missing from my car. (Oh no it isn`t, I need a three arm oil filler cap as well.) I have been looking for and gathering missing parts for ten years now.
One sold on ebay today was the `filled in oval` type. The seller mentioned some deterioration with age which suggests it is original. It was removed before the end of the auction so we do not know the selling price.
Brian Buckland only shows the open oval type, which I think looks better.
Thankyou for showing the SJ replica. At least that is now a possibility for me.
Watching and learning.

The ebay listing has re-surfaced blaming "technical" problems.
The SJS Sportscars version may warrant A for effort but only D to E for attainment. It would always irritate me.
A skilled computer graphicist should be easily able to produce a good label for trimming then insertion in a period knob.
Any offers from our more computer adept colleagues or their (grand) children?
Please!
Gordon

I think Innes is trying to do this, but needs a good source image to start from...

To clarify I have a digital designer on hand to help with the image vector file and I have shopped around a few suppliers for the gel dome.
I have also found a good source of reproduction knobs for a reasonable fee.
I don't yet know the grade/size of piano wire as the knob needs to push as well as pull the heater valve.
However the starter for 10 is a photograph of the logo. *Fingers crossed*
Edit - I've found the one on eBay, I will watch it but expect it will be quite expensive given how rare it is, good luck to the seller.
I will grab one of those images as a low Res starter.
-Except they are all slightly off axis

Are you just making a one off for yourself or are you planning on making a few and sell them? If the latter, you would make a fortune if you could make a near identical replica. I'd have one.

There is one newly listed on ebay and the seller has posted some very good pictures. Is this any help?

Would you mind sharing the supplier who have the gel dome. I have a couple of original knobs/cables for a heater but am missing the gel dome and the fiery logo.
