Heater elan s3

Hi
I have a doubt about the heater. My s3 is chassis number 6529. The parts manual says that in 6600 is a heater change with the side vents.
My car has side vents but I don’t know if the car comes from factory with the side vents.
Unfortunately I don’t have the heather...
Has someone a s3 nearly 6600 chassis number?
Cheers

My car 63xx, has side face vents but the connections to the heater box are on the inside/toward the driver. Two speed fan controlled by resistor within the heater box itself. Later cars have the outlet to the side face vents on the engine side of the box.

Hi Rohan
I bought the car without heater. So I don’t know which is the correct heater for my car. My car has the holes in the screen pillar trim. But my chassis number is before chassis number 6600. I don’t know if my car comes from factory with the vent holes.
Cheers

I have chassis number 6208 (RHD). It came to me with a heater box with the vents toward the driver. The glove box will not/did not fit that way. You can remove the heater, undo the securing screws all around, and flip the end pieces whereby the vents will be toward the engine, I admit is was easy to do as the dash was removed at the time.
