S3 Loom/ Wiring Diagram Confusion !!

Hi All ,
Does anybody know of a Supplier of the Elan S3 Wiring Loom , that actually resembles the S3 Wiring Diagram in my Lotus Workshop Manuals ( ie : it`s a later bespoke S3 loom , not an early "inferior" based S1/S2 loom + electric windows ) ?!?
I know this has caused countless head scratching & trip ups before ... & I "guess" Lotus "evolved" the S3 loom , to finally be very similar to the the S4 ( particularly in respect of the superior headlamp relay set up ) ... and this is the Wiring Diagram Lotus have published in all the Workshop Manuals I have seen so far ...
So , does anybody sell this final version of the S3 Loom ??
I have a very good friend , now needing a new loom for his S3 .... & the new S3 looms I have seen for sale so far ( including the Paul Matty one in my own car ) are all S1/S2 based .... & nothing like the later "superior" S3 version actually printed in my Workshop Manual .... & they are out of stock !
Please Help : )
Cheers ,
Paul .

Paul,
About 10 years ago I spoke to the factory about a diagram for my S4. My problem was I could not follow the small diagram in the manual, they sent me a full size drawing. I can’t comment as to the factory being a good source for an S3, but might be worth a phone call or e-mail.
Hope this helps,
Richard Hawkins

Hi Richard ,
Yeh , it might also be worth talking to the Factory , to see why their own S3 Workshop Manual Diagram doesn`t "seem" to be being adopted ... especially bearing in mind it`s better than the S1/S2 one !
Brian Buckland told me only last week , that no S3 had the Workshop Manual S3 loom ... & that the Manual is wrong !
However , even "if" that is so ( can anyone confirm ?) ... if the Factory updates the manuals ( or the cars ) to show a superior , bespoke S3 Loom ... that is the one we should use in my humble opinion !?!?
I certainly got rid of the inferior S1/S2 single under dash Headlamp Relay ( which also had signs of getting too hot ! ) , when I recently found to my surprise that the new Paul Matty Loom fitted in my S3 , was of the S1/S2 style .... not as per my Workshop Manuals !
I think it would be good to get to the bottom of all this ... if just to stop any confusion , time wasting , or mistakes for future owners : )
Can anyone help ?
