PostPost by: Bits » Thu Nov 14, 2019 8:54 am

Hi All,

Can anyone tell me the difference/s between a 23D4 41189 A and a 23D4 41189 E dizzy please.
I have the E and it is marked inside 10 deg.

Regards,

Mark. :D

The 41189A is set to provide 12? of total dizzy advance in total (that is 24? of crank advance), while the 10? would indicate 20? of total crank avance

Thanks for the reply & notes. :D There is only mention of the A though in the list.

The direction arrow on the dizzy is CCW (as in the table) and it has the numbers 4275 on it as well! :?:

Thanks for the info. :D :D

The last numbers is the date. Being the year 1975 it's past the date of the last elans, but luckily it is the correct one for my S4 even if it has 10 deg cam in it.

I will see how it eventually runs - if it needs to be altered towards 12 deg at least I can file the cam down to get 12 deg.

Thanks again.
