+2 solenoid to coil

I have two wires going to the coil
A white
A white and yellow

The white comes from the tachograph I think... according to the book.

The white and yellow comes from the solenoid.

I have there questions

1) the white going to the coil : positive or negative ?
2) the white and yellow to the coil: positive or negative ?
3) the white and yellow at the solenoid end... which terminal ?
I have the two post terminals. One for the positive feed from the battery. The other for the starter feed.

In the middle I have two spade connectors. Looking at the bulkhead I have one on the right (white and red) and an unused terminal on the left middle and one unused terminal on the positive post...

1) Positive (ballast resistor on coil).
2) Positive.
3) Left middle (live whilst cranking only)
