Hi all,
I'm helping a friend restore his series 3 elan, a 66 DHC, & we don't have the correct wiper motor. I know it should be a Lucas DR3A but can anyone tell me what degree gear should be fitted to give the correct wiper arc.
Thanks.

Just a thought .... if you assembled the rack, wheel boxes and arms/blades you could get a reasonable measurement with a protractor or similar instrument.
Or just fit the motor, feed it some electrickery and see what happens
Edit: just remembered you'd have to prop the screen in situ', or fit it of course.
Edit 2: or measure mine with said protractor

I gave up trying to find the correct wiper motor for my S3 DHC, and ended up buying http://www.carbuildersolutions.com/uk/130-degree-sweep-windscreen-wiper-kit.
I had to fabricate a mounting, but that wasn't difficult, and it works very well indeed!
