Wiper Motor Gear

The wiper motor for my S4 Elan rebuild came without any gear wheel fitted. Does anyone know what other British cars this gear was fitted to?

No, but they are a pretty generic part. They only vary in the number of degrees of sweep.

Thanks, Andy. I suppose the million dollar question is what the sweep is for an Elan?? If you fit the wrong gear wheel it is a bit of a pig to remove the wiper motor I believe!!

You need a 110 deg gear but they can be easily modified. Some time a go I made a batch of the pegs as I fitted 29 watt type to my S4 - wipers now actually work
