Hmmmm thinking maybe cortina wiper / washer switch, where the recess allows for the washer pump to be pressed in? Would need to see both side by side however

I just looked at my S1-S2-Coupe parts book, which is a great place to look for sources of Elan parts. The cups were not even pictured. This vacuum switch was used on all Elan models. Interesting that the switch itself is a Lotus derived number, but the knob has a 109E Ford number, leading me to surmise that the cups and slotted nut were part of the switch. I do know that the nut is similar but larger diameter as those used on Lucas push-pull switches. I had misplaced the nut on my SS while it was recently out of the car, and I checked every Lucas switch I had for a replacement nut. I gave up on the replacement when I found the original.
I made a pair of cups to locate a Lucas push-pull switch in the dash of Lotus 20/22 Formula Junior. They are aluminum, made on my lathe.

Appreciate it guys. I checked my Cortina sources but unfortunately these are unheard of. My S4 parts book doesn't show these either but having a Federal Sprint, I"ve come across Europa stuff in my car quite often. Perhaps if anyone has a Europa parts manual, I'd appreciate it if you can tell me if these parts are listed.

I found the cups. They are the same as used on early Elan windhield wiper switch with the manual washer pump. I could not find the correct chrome nut but I have a knurled one that fits and you can cut a groove in it. Groovy baby! I'll mail it out tomorrow.
