Does anyone know what car the S4/Sprint heater and radiator came from? Also the rev counter and speedometer?

Hello William
The cooling radiator is based around a Triumph spitfire one. I think the heater matrix is specific to the Elan. The gauges are probably used on various cars of that era.
They should all be available from the usual Lotus specialists or if you have the old units they can be refurbished.

William,
Don't know where the complete heater assembly is from, but replacement heater matrix can be had from here:

Regards,
Colin.
P.S. I think the original application for the Elan heater (certainly the matrix) is from an English taxi:

Perhaps this is where the complete assembly is from as well?

Buy a Triumph Spitfire/Herald unit and ask a radiator company to turn the top pipe 180 degrees. I bought a replacement wide unit for my Sprint to replace the standard width unit and with a modern electric cooling fans the car is able to cope with traffic without too many worries. I think there are a couple of Triumph designs, filler cap on one side or in the middle of the radiator and possibly two different heights (?) so just take care. The original unit was made by Standpart.

I think the rev counter and speedo are Lotus only parts ..

Carls advice about fitting the earlier full width radiator is the modification I always recommend.
However if you can find an original Lotus one to recondition or a new remanufactured radiator I would fit that before modifying a triumph one.
The Triumph and Lotus radiators may look the same but there are differences which can sometimes cause problems.
William if you want more detailed advice give me an email.
