Lumenition Module Location

Hi All,

I am just about to fit Lumenition Optronic ignition to the S3 (the S4 already has it).

On the S4 the module is mounted on the baffle plate next to the rad.iator. The S3 with its wider radiato r doesn't have the end plates. Where should I mount the Lumenition module?

Simon,
As it's an after market part it's where ever you can fit it. But I mounted mine on the inner wing just below the air trunking.
Here's a pic.

I was looking at putting it there, particularly as it is second hand and the wires are a little short!

I was concerned about it getting too hot - Clearly it is ok

Well mine worked OK for about 7 years.
Now gone EFI.

Well I got it all connected and finished at 1.30 am - (My neighbours must think I'm crackers!)

Turned the key - Two shotgun backfires ... That'll please em!

Timing 180 o out! I'll do it later in the morning!
