Does anybody know what size the rear number plate lamp screws are for a 1969 s4 elan and a supplier of stainless new ones. Mine are very rusty

No idea if it's original or not but mine are fixed with No 6 self tappers direct into the fibreglass. There is access to the rear of the lamp through slots in the inner skin of the boot lid - albeit a bit fiddly - so you could use screws with nuts and washers if you prefer - 5 BA or M3 should do it.
