Hi Mike,
There's one in the Body section of the workshop manual. On the off chance you haven't got it, this is a cut'n'paste with the S3 dash & the Key pages. If it's not good enough, drop me a line & I'll scan & send over the relevant pages as a pdf.

Mike ( Brian ),

... adds a bit more info wrt Coupes & heated rear screens. I don't think you have a Coupe Mike, but I'm not 100% sure.. so it's FWIW.

When I fitted my S3 dash I found it had a two speed heater fan which had not had both speeds connected, it just had a single position switch.
I tried to fit a two position switch but the ?recess? in the back of the dashboard would not allow a two speed switch to be fitted as it was not scooped out enough (two speed switch is larger then single speed)
I could have cut a bit more away on the dash but did not want to so I swapped over the the positions of the panel light and fan switch as the recess for the panel light had been scooped enough to accept the larger switch.
Pictured is the old dash but the new one was exactly the same.

Question.........in my S-3 FHC, left hand drive, toggle switch dash, there is a factory made hole on the far left side. It is just below and to the left of the oil pressure gauge. Has the factory cut out on the back side of the dash for switch clearance. My manuels do not show it. Any ideas??

The thread above (that I linked to ) includes:
"My '67 S3 fhc has 2 warning lights just below the oil / water temp gauge. One is handbrake warning, the other is heated rear screen....and next to that is the switch for the screen. Those are the only 'extra' warning lights on the dash".
Heated rear screen?

That's where mine, in a mirror image, has the switch and lamp for the heated rear screen Mike.

Thats what it is Mark..........never knew that. I actually have a smaller hole that I now remember had a warning light in it, I believe I can use that for the parking brake?? Since I wont have a heated rear window, I guess I could use it for a cooling fan switch.
thanks
