Sites with alternate source info

PostPost by: garyeanderson » Mon Jan 17, 2011 3:15 pm

This is probably a re-run but I found a site this morning while looking for info on rear caliper source (apparently none, other that the Lotus Elite and 1965 1800cc Marcos)

elan-archive-f16/rear-caliper-applications-t10533.html

Anyway as I was searching on 64032277 (LH rear caliper part number) and Girling I came up with 2 hits, one is the Golden Gate Lotus car club which has been posted before

http://www.gglotus.org/ggpart/body-elanxref.htm

and this one for the Plus2 that when I searched for the link on the forum I came up empty so have a look and I hope that it will offer a bit to some folks that are into the cross reference stuff

If anyone else has others please post here so that the list can grow to something useful to everyone.

.. or add them to the relevant page in the wiki, so you don't have to scroll through multiple posts to find the one you're after, or find the post contaning the new address after the site moved, or find the post that explains that the site has closed down, or ...

Also, you don't have to scroll past off-topic posts like this one .. :)

Thanks Gary. The Plus 2 site is very helpful. I do wish an English version was available.

It is, Mike. Just open the site from Google and hit the translate button at the top. It's not perfect, but it can be understood.
