Hi all,

Usual problem with needle bouncing up and down.Always had this but noticed that when i put thumb pressure onto fuse pushing it into holder the needle dips ,always believed electronic ignition was causing problem but???

hi

If pushing on the fuse makes the needle drop (I assume U mean goes to zero rpm ) then a dodgy connection may be the problem. with the RV1**** tacho's some electronic ignitions don't work but that would show up when it was installed. If the fault has suddenly appeared may be the dodgy lead or the tacho could have a internal fault. Could be the +12V feed to it but should not be the current lead from ignition to coil as that would stop the ignition.
