Gordon,
I hope some one can let me know about the headlights, I would be surprised if they did not.
I will try and post up some pics. I have all the running gear all but done. The body is in undercoat and I have just started to wet rub it ready for paint.
Funny though no matter how hard you look there are always (or seems to be) blemishes that you miss.
I am trying to find a way of replacing my Dash Crash Pad, I got a fiberglass one with the car but it is pretty crappy apart from not fitting well at all it is hard and therefore not really a crash pad. At present I am going to see if I can get some ABS sheet and vacuum form over a thin layer of foam glued on top of the fiberglass pad the original one being useless. If this is successful I will post up a how to and even a short video. I have not seen anyone selling new ones. There are some people who do this as a business but the sub strata has to be solid and as you know the Elans are not.

Not able to verify right now but I believe the headlights to be the same as used on the MGB. Pretty sure they are a BMC/Leyland part, any way.
Tim
PS Yep, just checked and MGB is right

Tony,
there are a couple of Companies in GB that sell the bits you need.
Europa Spares (or named similarly) sell these sort of things for "Specials" or Kit Cars i.e. Cobra Replicas.
Don't you have some companies like that over there?
The big Names like Matty, Sue Miller or Chris Neil will also be able to help.
I think what you are looking for is:-
1. The Headlamp Bowl which is originally a Steel pressing but can also be supplied in rustproof Plastic.
(Usually come complete with the Headlight adjustment Screws/Springs)
These fit into your empty Headlamp Pods with Self Tappers
2. The 2 part Chrome headlamp surround which attaches the Headlamp to the Bowl
3. 7" H4 Headlamps which should be freely available at any Auto Electrics Shop.
4. Connector for H4 / Sealed Beam Lights

Tony,
a Moss catalogue will come in handy for the bitza's like lights etc.
As an aside, I always found the the term "crash pad" a bit funny WRT an elan - i guess the pad softens the landing after you have broken through the steering wheel with your head/face
