Courtesy Lights

I am soooo close to being finished! I have an early coupe. The courtesy lights seem to want to stay on all the time. I assume that I have made a mistake grounding at the door switches. I attached the ground wire to one of the mounting screws. Is this wrong? pushing in the buttons on both side does nothing. I have wired everything else a couple of times so why should this be different. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Brian

Brian,
Pretty simple really. Make sure that one door is closed. Take the ground off the switch at the other door and see what happens. If the lights go out, then the switch is not interrupting the current when it is pushed in. If they stay on, you probably wired the panel switch incorrectly and the lights are finding ground behind the dash board. Or maybe the panel switch is switched on. Hope this helps.
