Have had my plus 2 a couple of years and had assumed that the indicators werent meant to self cancel.Having changed to a different garage for its service/mot the other month he told me they should and mine is missing the peg that clamps around the column,he offered to sort it but also said i should do it myself as its an easy job.Can anyone point me in the right direction to purchase one?

Hi Ian,
I assume that the +2 steering column is the same as the Elan and if I recall correctly the cancelling device is a ridged sleeve about 1" long which is crimped and/or spot welded to the inner column. Canley Classics list all the steering bits in their catalogue but I can't see the bit you need - might be worth giving them a ring though.

On my Plus2 it's a plastic ring (tight push fit) on the column with a bump..
