Voltage regulator(?)

Beware...

If you need a new voltage stabiliser you can buy one on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SOLID-STATE-VOLTA ... =72%3A1689

It is an easy replacement for the original type.


Further investigation reveals that this is the very item that 'goosed' itself so quickly. Of course that doesn't rule out the problem being with my car, and that will be tested with John's version, very nicely packaged into an original casing, and costing only pennies more.

Just, beware.

The wires to the voltage stabilizer should be green only plus the earth (black) to the case the supply to B and I to gauges . Reds are side lighting and Red /l green wiper you need to check workshop manuel as this is from my memory when I worked in the 70s for Lucas .
