reverse light switch

PostPost by: rdssdi » Thu Jan 03, 2008 7:07 pm

Does anyone have a part number for the reverse light switch?
1969 4 speed.

Is this switch available at local parts stores? Such as NAPA here in the U.S..

Thanks

Bob,
I recently got one from Ray at RD Enterprises. I have no idea how common they are outside of Lotus or Ford Cortina parts sources. I just looked at the Golden Gate Lotus Club cross-reference list and did not see the switch in question.

Bob,
My parts list shows the number 050 F 6002.
I can't tell you of the other applications but no doubt a motor factor will be able to find it from this number.

It appears to have a Lucas part number in the Robinshaw book. I thought it would be a Ford part. I thought it might cross reference to a Ford Pinto part.

Hi Bob.

I got one a while ago from The Elan Factory in Melbourne.
Their part number is A036M6304Z.
If you can't get one locally, they would be an option.
I'd expect the price to be less than US$50 including the cost of airmail.

I ordered one from Ray at RD Ent.. He is nearby.

It is a Lucas part.

I thought as the transmission is from Ford, the reversing light switch might be Ford also.

Thanks
