Does one of you have the experience with this ignition system? Is it worth using it in place of the original contact breaker? Do I just need to instal it or does the car need other modifications (ignition lead, rev counter)?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Olivier.

Completely agree myself, wonderful system, bouncing tach I don't really mind that much about. That got better when I threw the crap Lucas Sports coil far far into the woods, and fitted a shiny new blue BOSCH coil..
The next step is fitting the wonderful new Magnecor competition plug leads and new cap I bought off them last year.. It would help my laziness if the positioning of the distributor wasn't so ridiculously impractical..

I have used the lumenition magnatronic ignition for the last 4 years on my S4, no problems at all. I used it with a Bosch coil and the tacho was pretty stable. I finally had the tacho rebuilt by Speedy Cables as it was look a bit tired, still works fine.
Well worth fitting one as doing the points is a pain in the @@@@
