Distributor type?

My 74 2 + 2 130/5 has had a replacement distributor fitted at some point. I assumed this was the Lucas 43D4 but now I've come to get a new dissie cap I've hit a snag. The 43D4 shown in Miles Wilkins Lotus Twin Cam Engine book (page 171) has a screw on cap. Mine has clips. I don't want to take the distributor out again! Anyone got any ideas??

I do believe the screw on cap can be made to fit by filing in the correct places to form a "catch" for the spring clips as per your old one.....

Cheers John.
Demon Tweeks have supplied me with the wrong Magnecor cap by mail order. It also has a large semi-circular cut out where the low tension lead would pass through in the older type distributor so I can't file it anyway cos there will still be gaping hole!
