Dizzy Cap

Will the 43D cap work as a replacement for the 23D cap?

Thanx

Jerry

Why would you want too?

I remember from my Mini days that the 45D does not have the cut-out for the point wire as it comes through the dizzy body. Does the 43D wire also come through the dizzy or through the cap?

Dizzy caps are cheap, if you just want a cheap cap pop into Halfords and look at the Mini ones they are the same.

I got a great brass contact cap recently from QED but it was ?17.

My understanding is that the 43D cap separates the spark pathways better, and is less prone to breakdown with higher voltages. My engine is a racing engine.
