S2 DISTRIBUTOR SPRINGS - AND ELISE FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Folks,

At my dumbest, I bent one of the springs upon disassembly. It is now stretched, and unusable. My hamfisted ways leave my cold sometimes. My regular supplier is coming up empty - does anyone have a pair, or a source for these?

Also, the Elise. Have only 300k on the car (picked it up, and left for family vacation immediately thereafter. But I can tell you all that I'm very, very gald to have bought it! Its freaking neat, and quick (although with a 4000rpm break-in limit for 1600k, its painful).

True to form though, as I picked up the car at the dealer, it was in the service area having the battery changed! Seems as though the battery went soft between purchase and pickup!!!!! The Prince of Darkness lives.

Hi Bill,

You might try Jeff at JAE (no affiliation, etc.) I got a pair a while back, but have yet to put them in.

Somehow, I think the additional 1300k will come and go before you know it.
