Holdens has new classic Smiths 100mm KPH speedos that look about right.

Marc:

I've seen them on their website, but the font and other features do not match the tach. Would some of the UK vendors have them used?

Another option would be to approach a gauge repair company about changing the face of the speedo. I remember talking to a local repairer who mentioned he changed faces and modified writing on gauges

Clive:

I've had that done here in the US on a VDO gauge once, but it was to get rid of an 85 MPH 'Jimmy Carter' face and install a proper 180 MPH face (so I could see the lower 2/3 of the range due to the steering wheel). Do you know of any good specialists in the UK that might have the correct face and other parts needed? I doubt that any here have the right stuff.

Try Adrian Sidwell
He does not seem to have a website but e-mail:- [email protected]
I have met him a few times at various car shows. He should be able to help you

Clive:

Thanks for the tip - I'll send him a message. I've also sent an email to this firm:

Have you heard anything about them?
