Interior lights - available alternatives?

Look at my post on page 1 of my Cortina lamp base same as what you are calling plus 2.


Hi Gary

I have 2 bases in the photo; the one you show on page one is the same as my Cortina one with a lozenge shaped one in the centre. The +2 base has a square hole in the centre. I believed they were the same until I saw them together.

Sorry Gary I see where the confusion is; I have the pics around the wrong way. Will edit the posting.

Hi Gary

Sadly the Cortina one you have is the same as my Cortina one and is a completely different casting to the +2 one.

I have now edited my post to show that my top lamp is a +2 and the bottom one is the same as yours which is a Cortina one.

It is amazing that Lotus would commission Wingard to make a completely different base and lens to the Cortina one when they are almost the same. The rear lamps are the same as the Cortina Estate so it could not have been a patent issue?
