Peter,
I will try his mobile tomorrow. It could have been his daughter, I was just assuming. Wife - daughter - all come under the title of " 'er indoors' to me!
I just want a radio I can use.

Thanks for the clarification - I understand now. I think I've had value for money then with Vintage Wireless as the Turnolock works like a modern FM/MW/LW radio now but has an additional lead like yours for my CD/MP3/iPOD if I take it along.
