For those who wanted to get in touch with Secret audio here is the link I used to reach him. His name is Dallas. He also was the guy who designed a built the speaker system. He says that he has the best prices.
I don't think that he would have any problems sending anything out of county. Costs???

OOPS need to confirm the address, back in a little while.
$329.00 with speakers

Stangely enough 2 of the companies I emailed as lssted as suppliers on the Secret Audio web site, have both come back and say "they have never heard of secret audio " :? Maybe its a secret :P

I'll kep trying and if not I'll have to get one of you left hookers from across the pond to buy one for me and ship it !!!

Cheers and 10 pints of Guinness

Peter, I called Dallas and said that he may get some inquiries and I asked if he could ship worldwide and he said, not a problem. He would not use UPS as he does here in the states, but will use USPS by air and will get an estimate of shipping cost. Maybe, since he ships free in the US, maybe he will credit his normal shipping cost to the USPS cost to you.??
I could not get the links to work at my office, so I'm glad to hear that you were able to contact Dallas. He said Dallas, Like Dallas Texas. He must have had to explain his name before. But what can I say with a name like Sarto Rocheleau.
I should get the radio by Friday and I'll photo the installation and let you know how well it works
Later, Sarto

For those of us in the UK its worth considering some other options.
1) there is a number of companies that modify old radios to provide a feed for ipods etc, or add a digital FM tuner to AM radios.
One such company that is at all the car fairs is Walmley Classics, i have had a chat to the guy on a numberof occassions and he seems genuine enough.
2) If you can get an FM tuner that fits (I had a look around a recent autojumble, and there are a number of 70's FM sets that aren't that deep, that should fit), you can add an FM modulator kit to the RF feed which would allow you to use any other device you wanted to to provide music. Maplin do a kit for this.
Cheers

Thanks for the comments can you help more though with either contact email or web site etc for Warmley Classics as I have done a quick serch on the net but cannot find them under "Walmley Classics radio" etc

Anyone else know of ANYONE still converting old AM /MW to FM ? I have been in touch with a few but all no longer doing it ?
