Elan S4/Sprint Window Switch Crossover Wiring

Making preparations for fitting a new dash loom.
Some of the wiring I discovered was quite tragic, but one thing I noticed on the new loom is that there is no provision for the window switch crossover wires. Previously this was achieved using spade piggyback connectors and was just a mess on both switches.
I have a sacrificial window switch so toyed with the idea of soldering crossover wires onto the spade connectors below where the power and earth female spades fit. I drilled 2mm holes and fitted the jumpers which I will solder in place.
Thought I would share this before going ahead in case there’s anything I missed. Couldn’t find anything on this subject doing a forum search.

I had understood the switches came with the crossover wiring in place, very similar to how you are proposing to modify yours. Mine do.
Have a look at:

Which has a picture of a R Dent switch with crossover wiring in place.
Hence no crossover wiring in the loom.
Andy.

Good to know I’m not barking up the wrong tree.
Mind you I’m not keen on uninsulated cross over wires, although I suppose if they’re rigid enough the risk of a short is small.
Mind you I’m not keen on uninstalling
