S3 tail light orientation

I'm taking apart my tail light assembly and I see they were reversed, ie, the one marked LH was on the
right, and viceversa. I'd like to make it correct. Because the assembly seems to be able to be fitted one way up, or the other way up, which side does the amber bulb fit, the shorter bowel, or taller bowel?

In uk the indicator ( orange) must be seen from the side, therefore that lens on outside of car.
Red bulb is a double filament, brake and rear light, this bulb holder is different and its location in the assembly is unique, therefore sets which goes where.

Craven, you are, of course, correct. I see the difference in the bulb holder is subtle, ie, one having a tang,
which will fit in the housing opening that has one 'protusion' vs no tang bulb holder which fits into
the hole with two protrusions. Thank you!
