Hello folks, new guy here.I sell alot of Pertronix items worldwide and listen to the pros and cons of the items I sell.I had a great talk with a forum member for about 60-90 mins yesterday about the adv curve on the Pertronix Lucas style distributor and how it could be made better to suit the performance of your engine.
From what I understand the vac adv is 22* and for it to work more like the original and for Pertronix to sell a bunch more the vac adv should be in the 10* range?
Let me know if what I just posted is correct and if it is,we will take it to the next step.
I would like for you guys to direct me to or post info about the problem you are having and if fixed,it might lead you to use the Pertronix distributor on your classic.
I have some phone time set up with a wheel at Pertronix on Monday and would like to bring up your questions and concerns during our conversation to see if we can make improvements and what it would take.
Thanks for your time.
