Russ, no spares I am afraid but here are a couple of pics of the RVI 2434/00 tacho from my +2 S130/4. I am deleting the RVI circuit on this unit and replacing it with a driver circuit based on an LM2917N. This will enable a voltage signal to be picked up from the -ve terminal on the coil which should enable the tacho to work better with my Aldon distributor.(I hope)

These pictures were taken of a spare that came with my S130/5 decades again, the face looking the same as the one in the car but it is marked 2419/00 RVI. I no longer have it, in fact if anyone comes across it (note my writing on the back) report it as stolen as I posted it to NicolaColtro last month and it never arrived (in Padua).
Where are you based, it helps people to know?
[EDIT on Christmas Day] By concidence, and using my new Christmas present, I scanned in a slide of my old +2 S130 dash board showing that it had flat faced rims and orange needles as described by the thread opener in his last post. Apologies for poor memory and Red Herring.]

Meg,
I think you tacho is from a different model, the +2 has a flat chrome bezel.

Thanks for your help (and the photos).
I will keep an eye out for a "correct" tacho. If I cant find one I might consider a new smiths "cobra" type RVC unit one day.
I am in Tasmania BTW - but if you have a spare tach (or a dial face even), we do get post down here!

Russ,
Assuming you are after a Tacho to match your Speedo are you looking for a flat-faced one or a bevel-edged one (like mine was)? To help clarify the whole business what is your chassis number or VIN so we can map the type against car variant?
