Which Rev Limiter Extras?

So to continue tuning my main jets Keith wants me to pull at WOT to the redline.
Hmm, think I might fit a rev limiter.

(this is the same Keith back in the day)
Think I'll probably get an Omex one as they are easier to set than some and do a soft limit which seems kinder that a hard cut.
So... then you see they do one with a Shift Light and another with Launch Control.
Launch Control!!! Coool. This would really satisfy the young boy in me.
Not entirely sure it is necessary (ah, but c'mon LAUNCH CONTROL!) so does anybody have a shift light and do they find it in anyway useful what so ever?
Simon
P.S. The lad in me still wants launch control.

Simon,
I used Pertronix for set and forget as its mounted behind the glovebox, non-cockpit adjustable . I used the microdynamics unit when I needed to move the limit around while in the car. Both have not given me any trouble . I did not take advantage of any of the extra's offered by the microdynamics unit.
