Unlike my indicators!
The MOT man advised me that they were a little slow ? they are supposed to flash 100 ? 120 times a minute....?I?m not going to stand here counting them, but you need to investigate?

low load on the flasher unit, usually bad earth at lamp. Lamps are for lighting, bulbs are for gardens.

Crusty,
Are you referring to side lights (parking lights) or indicators?
Colin.

Not really sure what you mean? But if the side lights are flashing when you operate the indicators it is likely to be bad earths to the indicator lights/lamps/incandescent devices.

:?

Weird things can happen with poor earth returns in the wiring system. Could it be interference with the headlamp flashing system? (assuming it's still wired so they come up flashing). Do the parking lights keep flashing after the headlights have been switched on?

I did not know.. when the lights are up and you have only got the side lights on the headlights flash to say"we are not on", or "put us down" if you only want the side lights on ,clever. Ive never noticed and ive had the car 2 years..

I always thought this was a feature to allow you to flash oncoming traffic to warn them of hazards/accidents/speed traps whilst only needing one operation rather than two. Otherwise why not just use the relay to turn the lights on when they pop up? Least ways that was what I used it for in the short year I had a +2.
