Hi Folks
I suspect a few of U have seen the horror stories in the pictures below! A mate of mine managed the fill the one with braze but the other was too far gone ( for his considerable skills). Looking for someone who could remake these or is very delicate with the braze/silver solder so that one badely damaged one could be filled prior to re-plating. Any one know someone who does these or possibly a source of them?
cheers and of course seasons greetings!!
regards
Bob

Hi Bob
They do not look too bad; could you not braze a small plate underneath?
B&Q sell MAP gas and braze sticks.

Thanks for the replies folks
regarding brazing up the guy who tried is very skilled. He does all sorts of brazing for specialist components used in the electronics industry. Problem is the pictures dont convey just how thin the remaining metal is and it tends to melt / burn way as the flame is applied.
I have bought Jono's passenger side one and so will still keep looking for a drivers side one so still looking for a source of build.
thanks 4 help seasons greetings to all on this excellent forum
