Headlight question.

Little screws under the pod with rubber bump stops fitted. One limits up and the other limits down. If you pull the head lamp out you will see them with the pod pushed down a bit through the lamp hole. Also if you look through the air grill with a torch you should see them.
They may be tight. Worth taking pod out and cleaning and lubing the threads. Mike

Thanks. Having posted the question I went and had another look and I spotted the little bolts but mine don't have rubber bump stops on them, as a result the fibreglass has worn a little and so the problem gradually gets worse.
Next question. The workshop manual shows a clever little tool for removing the headlight rim. I have done this without the use of such a tool but it feels a bit brutal. Any tips for doing this job?
Roger.

Roger, I have seen the tool (like you) in manual but not had one. I tend to have got away with pushing the rim down and flicking the bottom out with a small screwdriver. No doubt you could make little tool out of something.
