front sidelight fitting

PostPost by: tcsoar » Mon Sep 26, 2011 7:10 pm

Hi,

Just done a test fit of the front sidelights and they look ok. But there is a gap along the side on of them and whe you look closely you can see inside the front of the car. Is this normal, I checked the manual and the archives to see if there should be a gasket there but it seems not.

Ta, Chris.

The front sidelights are 'handed', but the differences are quite subtle. Are you sure you have the correct side on the correct side.

Thanks for the replies,

Roy, I know they are handed but unforunately I have two Left Hand units and they both have the same gaps.

John, I was thinking along the same lines with the silicon.
