Earth straps

Hello,
Does anyone know if the engine earth straps are the same for a Spyder chassis as those for the Lotus one?
I'm thinking particularly about the N/S one which goes from the engine mounting plate to the rubber mount chassis attachments, these are bolted to the chassis with four bolts, one of which has the earth strap attached to it, and I can't remember if these bolts are smaller than the Lotus ones which perhaps necessitates a smaller hole in the mounting strap end...?
Thanks
Robbie

Hi Robbie,
I can?t see any reason why the earth strap would be different with the Spyder chassis. The strap simply bridges the rubber part of the engine mount connecting one of the two large bolts to one of the four smaller ones. I believe Spyder use the same mount but fit it upside-down on the chassis instead of on the engine. The hardware is the same so the original strap should fit.
Regards,

Thanks Roger. I tried to get some from Paul Matty but they are out of stock, I'll have to hunt around a bit. Maybe Spyder sell them as spares too.
Cheers
